JRC 3D Reconstructor

JRC 3D Reconstructor is a software package for a complete processing of 3D data (coming from different laser scanners) and for topographical 2D digital images.

Created by the EU-JRC (Joint Research Centre of European Commission) and now officially developed by Gexcel, JRC 3D Reconstructor software is the proper answer for several fields of application.

By means of its modules structure and special tools for integration of 3D laser scanner surveys, topographical data and un-calibrated digital images, JRC 3D Reconstructor is widely adopted by engineers, architects, geologists and archaeologist for 3D data processing, analysis and information extraction.

JRC 3D Reconstructor software allows 3D laser data filtering, multiple scans registration and geo-referencing, meshing from clouds of points, digital images re-projection on 3D models. It offers special tools for data measuring and editing, cross sections and ortho-photo creation, volume calculations and AutoCAD connection for CAD drawing..

Gexcel announces JRC 3D Reconstructor 2.6.0 with new important improvements in the software capability to manage data from terrestrial and mobile survey.

The software now supports English, Italian and Chinese languages. New navigation and point editing tools are included; new recipe windows are introduced to simplify the procedure to calculate areas, volumes, meshes and point selections. New cross section tools and functions to link 3D data and external documents are provided, to better help architectonical, engineering and landscape survey. Important improvements were also introduced for meshing and texture mapping tools. Moreover, new tools for surveying tunnels are now available. (Viewer - Technical Info)
